All this program does is minimize RTCW: ET (or any other game/program, read on) without causing a vid_restart, by registering a global hotkey (Alt-Z for now.) When the program is minimized, it keeps the programs resolution and gamma settings. The program itself just stays in the system tray, and can be exited at any time.

Note: You don't have to do anything with check.txt to make it work with Enemy Territory or Soldier of Fortune 2, just run etmin.exe, and in game press Alt-Z to toggle the window's minimized state. The only reason you would need to create a file called check.txt is to add support for more games.

Supported Games

Right now, the two default supported games are RTCW: Enemy Territory and Soldier of Fortune 2. To add support for another game, you first need to find out the window class, then create a file called "check.txt" in the same directory as the minimizer program. For example, the default internal check list is:
SoF2 MP	Enemy Territory
Make sure that the space between the window classes is a tab.
